Where Wonder Lives
Where Wonder Lives
36” x 36” x 1.5” | Original Mixed Media on Cotton Canvas
There are places we recognize with our eyes—and others we recognize only by feeling.
Where Wonder Lives invites you into one of those places.
Layers of color, texture, expressive marks, and organic forms come together to create an abstract world that feels both familiar and imagined. Hints of landscape seem to emerge from beneath the surface, while unexpected shapes and passages encourage your eyes to wander, pause, and look again.
There is no single story hidden within this painting. Instead, it leaves room for yours.
Created intuitively through multiple layers of mixed media, Where Wonder Lives celebrates curiosity—the willingness to look beyond what is immediately visible and discover beauty in the unexpected. Earlier marks peek through newer ones, creating depth and history and giving the painting that sense of mystery that changes depending on where you stand and what you notice.
It is joyful without being overly sweet, imaginative without becoming whimsical, and filled with the feeling that something wonderful might be waiting just beyond what you can see.
Where Wonder Lives was created for the collector who still believes there should be a little mystery in life—and who wants their home filled with art that gives them something new to discover.
