Dream Land
Dreamland
36” x 36” x 1.5” | Mixed Media on Cotton Canvas
In Dreamland, softness and mystery meet in a place that feels somewhere between memory and imagination. Dreamy, atmospheric, and quietly dramatic, this original abstract painting invites you to linger—to let your eyes wander through the layers and discover the story hidden within them.
Creamy neutrals and ethereal washes create a sense of spaciousness, while unexpected passages of rich color emerge and disappear throughout the composition. Soft forms seem to float into one another, creating movement without revealing exactly where one shape ends and another begins. Like a dream remembered upon waking, there is something familiar here that remains just beyond explanation.
Layers of mixed media, glass beads, expressive marks, and tactile texture give Dreamland a beautiful physical presence. Glimpses of earlier layers remain visible beneath the surface, rewarding a closer look and allowing the painting to continually reveal something new as the light and your perspective change.
At its heart, Dreamland is about surrender—the moment we stop trying to control where we are going and allow ourselves to be carried somewhere unexpected. Created through a process that began with a clear vision and ultimately demanded intuition and freedom, the painting became something richer than what was originally imagined.
Dreamland emanates softness, mystery, romance, and quiet possibility. At 36 inches square, it has enough presence to anchor a bedroom, living space, reading retreat, or personal sanctuary while bringing an atmosphere of beauty and wonder into the room.
